Having TB does not inherently change the choice of ARV's. However, HIV-ASSIST results vary depending on the anti-tuberculosis regimen selected due to drug-drug interactions (e.g. depending on the rifamycin). For the most robust results, please run the tool separately for each potential anti-tuberculosis regimen and enter the regimen in the "Co-medications" input. Of note, isoniazid, pyrizanimide, and ethambutol have minimal interactions, as do most drugs in MDR-TB regimens, and as such are not included in the "Co-medications" list.
